went up to town this morning. cool ride on the bus. everything sunny and verdant green God is in his heaven just wish he would pay my bills cd hunting has become just like fishing or hunting. you can never be sure you going to bag something. anyways love the pic of Rev Gary Davis on the blues comp. ace! The Herb Alpert CD has all the goodies on it including Marching Through Madrid and the sony compilation is superior to many that used to be available and has the original version of River Deep Mountain high and not one of the live efforts from later. even has the only track where the name of the group is better than the song, i.e. Reparata and the Delrons . how cool is that????? hehehehehe.

I have a BA I earned it it wasn't given to me I was a mature student used to heavy labour, chainsaws, axes, shovels, and barely able to hold a pencil and write my name it took the first year just to get up to speed. I graduated in 2000ad in Philosophy and Business and Economic History from Victoria University Wellington. I live in a block of units where I have resided for 17 years I have seen 4 managers come and go the latest one on the first tour of inspection marched straight into my home and up to my diploma on the wall and the first thing she said was, "it is the intelligent ones you have to watch out for"!

what the well dressed rest home manager wears on their first day on the job! don't forget the whip them old folks might get out of line and to hell with the 80 year old lady whose clothesline wont revolve and is shaded after 1pm. If we push her hard enough we can get her into the home get the government subsidy and rent the unit to someone else just like we did to another old lady who was dead within a month. When Gabriel blows his horn you will have a lot to answer for. that is as close to murder as you can get in my book "and just in case you forget i am the BOSS round here"!

Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi (Prayer for Peace) Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
yeah right, i.e. the nutty right...

the tree at bottom was planted as a shrub by the lightbulb changer at Carter Court. at the time people were being "set up" and coming through the hedge at will and looking through my window. I complained to the manager and she said it was okay by her if ANYONE at all came onto the property and did what they liked. She must have had second thoughts because the lightbulb changer planted a shrub and said he would trim it. HAHAHAHAHA. five years later see above. when I told her that the lightbulb changer had no gardening qualifications she lied to my face and said he did when everybody in Carterton knows he was a ladies hairdresser before he retired. the top tree is a Japanese silk tree that provided shade in the summer. Two of these were felled because the guy next door did not like them and got the so called gardener to obtain permission to fell them. She was gung ho because she got three or more trailerloads of free firewood. The excuse was and in fact there are two excuses ...
