 I met Anne Wilson Schaef at her book signing in Christchurch at the feminist bookshop I was the only guy there but Anne motioned me over and we just sat and held hands and smiled at each other for ten minutes while the GIRLS stood around looking very glum. hehehe. It was a major transference of energy and when it was done I walked out. this book is always in print and always stolen from libraries.

 they surely don't the rolling stones were at peak of a long streak of amazing compositional powers the production line seemed to be endless. one classic album after another and then this bonus as well. a live 'un and a cracker. I know a nice lady who said the stones were seamy and she was right. they had their moments but it is the music that counts.  the art. it came out in 1970  along time ago now ancient hahaha it powered more parties than I can remember our band "the blackball shufflers" played sympathy for the devil with poland singing and laying it down on the tubescreamer. it drove the dancers wild honky tonk women did the trick too and  brown sugar so listen up kiddies if you want to have fun learn some of these songs and make the squares get off their bums and let it all hang out

send down that cloud with a silver lining  Carterton is a nifty little small town in the Wairarapa. It has everything you need except a handy trout stream? hehehehe and not only that but this town will play a major part in the new i-way when it gets properly wired up. To really understand small town new zealand you have to read bagnall, scholefield et al and the others who have left a remarkably rich history  of this area. Wonderful stuff and we are so lucky to have been granted this legacy. The historical society has it all on tap. The people here are mostly good average kiwis going about their work and lives with good heart and good will. nothing fancy. I know them they know me. We know how to mind our own business. I have been here long enough to have seen the young un's grow and leave and the next generation appear. I call that a privilege. The people who ain't so good are the retirees who arrive with their new cars etc from the retirement package and look down on us like ...
